There is a bushfire at Puckapunyal State Forest that is not yet under control.
The
bushfire is travelling from Heathcote Nagambie Rd near Version Rd intersection in a south-westerly direction towards Heathcote.
There is an expected wind change forecast for 5pm that will shift the direction of the fire to a North Easterly direction.
There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
What you should do:
Monitor weather conditions
and warnings.
Review your fire survival plan.
If you do not have a plan, decide what you will
do if the situation changes.
Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.

Smoke [will/may] be visible from nearby communities and roads.
Firefighters are responding to this fire.
