  • Landslides may occur in the Puckpunyal area because of expected rainfall
  • There has been a landslide in the Edinburgh Rd Area.
Prepare now, as further landslides may occur in and around Edinburgh Road.




What you should do: 
  • Think carefully about your surroundings and the risk to your safety should a landslide occur. 
  • Know your travel routes as travel may take longer due to closed roads and poor driving conditions.
  • Landslides may cause you to become isolated, ensure you are prepared with everything you will need. 
  • Stay informed by listening to emergency broadcasters and monitoring warnings.
  • Do not re-enter damaged buildings until authorities tell you  it is safe to do so.
  • Be aware of other hazards caused by the landslide.

  • Dangerous road conditions.
