  • There is a bushfire at 2km south of Jarvis Creek that is not yet under control.
  • The bushfire is travelling from Jarvis Creek in a southerly direction towards Tallangatta.
  • A westerly wind change is expected starting at 2pm this afternoon. This may cause the bushfire to grow towards Georges Creek. 
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and plan for what you will do if the situation changes.

  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings.
  • Review your fire survival plan.
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
