  • There is an industrial fire on Karinie Street, Swan Hill.
  • Toxic fumes from the fire are moving in a north easterly direction towards River Road. 
Anyone located in in the area should take shelter indoors immediately.
What you should do:

  • Close all exterior doors and windows. Close vents and ensure heating and cooling systems are turned off.  
  • If you are away from home, do not return. 
Impacts in your area:
  • The following road is closed: Karinie Street between Thurla Street and Murlong Street.
  • You will see black smoke. 
  • Check the VicTraffic website (traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au) or call 13 11 70 for road closures.
